| Patti Mollica lives and works with her fellow artist and jazz musician husband in New York City and Nyack, New York. She hears comments that her work is reminiscent of the painter Edward Hopper, who also favored the city environment, architecture and moods. Ironically, her studio is located in Hopper’s boyhood home in the historic town of Nyack.
Mollica’s artwork has been aquired in numerous public collections, including Mellon Bank USA, Sociéte Generale, DaimlerChrysler and Sheraton Hotels. She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in New York and New Jersey, and has received national awards and scholarships—including two full scholarships from the Pastel Society of America and the National Academy of Design. She has twice won the Award of Excellence from Manhattan Arts International. Mollica’s artwork is currently being published nationally and internationally as fine art posters and marketed through museum, gallery and retail outlets.
Clients include Risk Management, Guideposts, Currents, U.S. Airways Attaché magazine, Stanford University, City College of San Francisco, the Ed Fund, The New York Rangers, Gallo Winery and St. Martins Press.
