Illustrator
| Leif Parsons is based in Brooklyn, New York. He holds degrees in philosophy and graphic design. He has also taught English in Nepal, worked at a farm in Thailand and was a tree planter in Northern Ontario.
His work has been published by a variety of editorial and commercial clients, including Harpers magazine, The New York Times , McSweeney’s and Nike. He simultaneously has been executing personal work, which has been shown in Los Angeles and New York.
In 2006, Parsons was accepted into American Illustration, selected as “ADC Young Gun”; was selected as emerging talent for Step Inside Design; and was awarded a gold medal from the Advertising and Design Club of Canada. Previous awards include gold from the National Magazine Awards in 2005 and the Society of Illustration in 2004.
