| Wendy Wax, based in New York City, earned her bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from the University of Michigan. She was a children’s book editor in New York for several years, writing and illustrating a few with her husband, Jon, a commercial photographer. She currently writes books for Nickelodeon, and does art workshops with children--plus lots of art with her 7-year-old son, Jonah. Her interests include singing gospel music, swimming, yoga and reading.
Her clients include The Washington Post, The New York Times, UTNE Reader, Golf Digest, The New York Daily News, New York Law Journal, Child, Good Housekeeping, Sports Illustrated for Kids , Bloomberg, HBO, American Express and Viacom. She was recognized as Gray Advertising’s artist of the month in 1998.
